AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK
The National Education Association's 88th annual celebration of American Education Week (AEW) will be held the week of November 15-21, 2009. The AEW tagline, "Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility," emphasizes the shared responsibility for public education. All of us--parents, students, education support professionals, elected officials, business and community leaders, and others--are responsible for ensuring the basic right of every student to attend a great public school.
